Faster, steadier remote connections
What’s new in this update
Improvements
- When devices on different networks can't connect directly, the fast video path now also runs through your relay server.
- Clicks and typing in Remote view now take the same direct path as the video, so they respond faster.
- Remote camera starts on the fast path right away, switches automatically if it drops, and switches back when it recovers.
- Extend and Mirror over the same Wi-Fi now raise and lower quality automatically to fit the network.
- Relay servers can be saved with a name and loaded from a list.
- Mobile screen view is steadier over wireless, uses the hardware encoder first, and plays sound on Android 11 and 12.
Bug fixes
- Fixed screen privacy failing to turn on when another device connected during remote control on a Mac.
- Fixed iPhone USB screen view sometimes not connecting.
