Any Display 1.6.3
Better quality, responsiveness, and usability for local computer connections
What’s new in this update
- Improved image quality and responsiveness for existing local computer connections, with lower keyboard and mouse latency and fewer connection interruptions.
- Mac-to-Mac connections now use ScreenCaptureKit and VideoToolbox hardware H.265 processing, with improved bitrate and frame delivery for near-original image quality.
- Fixed maximize, full screen, and aspect-ratio behavior to reduce empty margins and cropped content, and improved cursor sizing, cursor shapes, and audio playback.
- View and adjust quality, frame rate, display sizing, and video, audio, and network details from Control Center in both the connected-screen window and the main app.
- Use mobile display extension, mirroring, or camera sharing while connected to another computer.
- Ending camera sharing on mobile now clears the desktop state immediately, and the webcam start and stop actions are clearer.
- The sidebar now adapts to each language and can be resized, with clearer labels, descriptions, connection guidance, and USB setup help for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
- The app menu and update dialogs now follow the selected language, and update details appear directly in the app when an update is ready or completed.
